A day following the widespread speculation that he and his wife of 31 years, Sharon, were splitting up - much to our horror - Ozzy opened up on Facebook about his marriage - as well as his sobriety.
"For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs," the 64-year-old rocker began. "I was in a very dark place and was an a*****e to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober."
On Monday, TMZ cited "multiple sources" who said that he and Sharon had broken up, at least temporarily, and were also living separately. Ozzy didn't clarify what their living arrangements are, or if they'd separated, but he did confirm TMZ's report that they're not headed for a divorce.
"Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing," Ozzy said. "I’m just trying to be a better person."
To go with that, Ozzy offered an apology to Sharon, " my family, my friends and my bandmates for my insane behavior during this period," he said. "And my fans."
