One of Chocolate City's artistes, Brymo, said on twitter that he will no longer be signed on to the Label.
Chocolate city, one of Nigeria's successful record and entertainment label, has extended its business to Kenya.
Choc City, which is headed by Audu Maikori, in November 2004, signed Kenyan artiste, Victoria Kimani, a move which paved way for the label debuting in the Kenyan music industry.
Announcing that the label will commence operations in Kenya at a launch to hold on Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Museum Hill in Nairobi, Kenya, the label's vice president and artiste M.I, said, "Our aim is to create a platform for the growth and expansion of East African music and foster more mutually beneficial collaborations with other African sub-regions".
Meanwhile, Brymo, an artiste with Chocolate city has confirmed quitting the record label.
Brymo took to twitter to announce this despite reports that he has some albums left as stipulated in his current contract with Chocolate city.
'It is true; I have left chocolate city,' Brymo tweeted from his account.
It would be recalled that producer and artiste, Jesse Jagz, also quit the label earlier in the year.
