Nigerian musician professes love for Yvonne Nelson; sends her giggling

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson’s love life is in the news again and this time around, there are rumours that she might be having a fling with Nigerian musician Dammy Krane.

Past rumours of relationships between her and some popular personalities including Ice Prince and Iyanya gained prominence and attention in the media.

News went viral after Ice Prince appeared in her movie, House of Goldwith photos of the two surfacing on the internet soon after. The pictures gave the rumour currency, but the actress refuted the story stating, they are just good friends.

While Iyanya graciously sang about her in his hit song Ur Waist and the accompanying alleged drama that came with it, a new song by Dammy Krane has got people talking.

Born Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, Dammy Krane, who is signed to 2Face Idibia’s Hypertek Digital, seems to have had ‘a huge crush’ on the Ghanaian actress.

Late last month, Yvonne Nelson posted a video on social media site, Keek, of Dammy and herself together in Lagos, Nigeria.

'I am not dating him'

In Dammy’s song titled Really Love You and released Wednesday, May 8, the singer said: "Senior broda mi Johnson. Sey you know my taste. Shomo Yvonne Nelson. I no just want Ur Waist, because...I do, I do really love you.”



Soon after the song was released, Yvonne Nelson tweeted on the same day that: “He really loves me and its not just the waist....hehehehehehehe. Awwwwwww.... Cute......@dammy_krane *hugs got me smiling. *nice song”

Her tweet seems to have put flame to the rumour as many saw it as the needed confirmation to the alleged relationship.

Yvonne Nelson interestingly took to twitter again on Thursday to dispel the rumour stating, “So just because he mentions my name in a song, that means I'm Dating him?? #weakLOGIC you can do better than that.....LOL.”

Commenting on the Keek video she posted of them together, she said: “I'm a very jovial lady,,,my keeks are proof....I have keeks with Majid,John,Dammy etc. They are sweet and adorable guys.love them.
