Tiwa Savage battles Wande Coal for music supremacy

Tiwa Savage battles Wande Coal for music supremacy
Sequel to the release of the highly anticipated albums of Waje and Omawumi, sexy female music artist, Tiwa Savage, has also announced that her highly anticipated debut album will finally be released in June.
Titled Once Upon A Time, it is indeed keenly expected as it has spawned the smash hits Kele Kele Love, Love Me 3x, Without My Heart, Ife Wa Gbona and Folarin.
The timing of the release has however indicated that her album will pitch her into a supremacy battle against Wande Coal who is also releasing his highly anticipated sophomore album in June.
The problem with both artists releasing their albums in June is that they are on the same label, Mavin Records, and the norm in the Nigerian music industry at least, is that labels push their artists’ albums one at a time. Another norm in the music industry is also that when two top artists release their albums in the same period, one of them suffers.
A case that is still very recent in this wise is that of 50 Cent and Kanye West. They released albums on the same day, West outsold 50, and 50 who was previously bigger than West has failed to recover from the defeat.
So whose album will do better? Is it Wande Coal’s, who became popular before Savage, or is it that of Savage, the lady who is so ambitious to be musically successful that she even exposed her bosom lavishly in one of her music videos in order to remain popular? Well, we can only wait and see.
