‘Man of Steel’ final trailer released: new look at action-packed battle scenes .

The final teaser for the superhero flick was released Friday, giving fans a glimse of never-before-seen scenes.

The countdown to the release of "Man of Steel" has officially begun.
In just one week the superhero flick staring Henry Cavill as Superman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane hits the big screen and Warner Bros. has released one final sneak peek Friday in a new action-packed trailer.

In a series of explosively eye-catching scenes, fans can catch a glimpse of a strong and shirtless Cavill as well as a steamy kiss between his character and Adams'.

The clip starts with a voice over by Superman's father, Jor-El played by Russell Crowe as explosions in Kypton happen around him.

"Every person can be a force for good, free to forge his own destiny," Crowe's character says as he sends his young son on his journey to Earth, where he will be known as Clark Kent and fulfill his destiny of becoming Superman.
The villain, General Zod played by Michael Shannon, is Kent's father's arch-enemy and the trailer does not disappoint in teasing the rivalry between the two as well as the instense battle scenes.
