Ere the story begins
In the last few days, I have been very busy. So busy that I couldn’t monitor what has been going on in the ww-sphere, but just yesterday night when I logged in to do my normal routine checks, I saw some comments on the dashboard area of my website and headed straight to approve them, I discovered those comments were on the late MC Loph’s story which my website broke a couple of days back and just then, coincidentally, my phone rang and it was a caller from New York who read the same story and wanted to find out the truth from me since it was first written on my site, www.myemag.net
In the course of our discussion, I explained the source of our story to her even though I wasn’t sure of her true identity. After taking out time to explain to her in details, she felt satisfied thanked me and the line went off.
A thought came to my mind that I should googgle the said story and guess what, I saw that Emeka Morgan had bought over a section of online forums that I wouldn’t want to satisfy their attention seeking appetite by mentioning their URL addresses here. I discovered they had come up with useless headlines like Morgan Entertainment boss; Oguejiofor didn’t kill MC Loph – Deceased family, well, that didn’t disturb me, because it was expected, but as I read through the end of the said write up which said that our earlier report was false, coupled with the reports that I connived with Obi to dupe Morgan and when it didn’t work, we resorted to blackmailing him, I immediately reached out for a cup of coffee just to douse my curiosity, after which I came back to my PC to do this write up as my official statement on the matter under review.
Now, I would like to state it categorically that it is a shame that some people would take peanuts and like Essau sell their soul to the devil, if you know what I mean. For all those who have probably sold their souls for some useless naira notes, dollars or pounds, and going under anonymous to open their odour-infested mouths to say one rubbish or the other against me, let me quickly remind you that in the first place, I didn’t ask Morgan for any money on, before and after we used the story and do not intend to do that either. Anyone who knows my person will testify to the fact that I have integrity and can never be bought over easily, not when I see the truth of an issue. As for those who claimed the story is fake and that I connived with Obi Madubogwu to rubbish Morgan, my question to you is: of what benefit will it be for me, to see someone brought down, does it in any way affect my bank account? or does it in anyway affect the cost of Kuli Kuli in the market?
I am a journalist, and I make bold to say that, I and my team did nothing but justice to that story. In the first place a recording of somebody accusing Morgan of rituals was brought to us which we paid for as evidence. The content had the voice of someone, an MD of a company claiming that the CEO used his artiste for ritual, dear blogger and haters, does that not sound like a big story that even you would be interested in? That is if you even know what a big story is? We published the content of the tape or is there another way you expected it to be done? Let me quickly also use this medium to inform you that the recording was done by an insider in Morgan Entertainment who is also my source, and it was done without Obi’s consent, which explains why he has been bombarding my phones, wanting to know how I got the tape.
Seeing that the allegation by Obi seemed heavy, the journalist in me again said we should go ahead to look deeper so as to get the subject matter, which is MC Loph’s mom’s side of the coin, which we did after days of lobbying for her mobile phone number, after which my reporter did an interview with her where she told us even the unimaginable, and subsequently, the interview was published, so what’s the crime we have committed that people are wanting to behead us for?
As for you Mr. Blogger who claimed that the deceased MC Loph’s family issued a statement saying that they had no grudges against Emeka Morgan and all the bullshit, my question to you is, which other family does MC Loph has other than his aged mom, who is currently ill and abandoned in Umunze to die in poverty, his surviving son, Obiajulu Jnr. and his wife?
If you are looking for someone to talk to from MC Loph’s family, why not reach out to his mom or even his wife, those directly involved in the matter? Anyway I want to believe you won’t do that because you are probably seating in one beer parlour waiting for a fake press release to be sent to you and you quickly post without any verification.
What you don’t know is that Emeka Morgan facilitated the imaginary MC Loph’s family and for your information, I DESMOND IKE CHIMA put a call through to MC Loph’s MOM again this morning and you know what? She told me categorically, ‘My Son, Emeka Morgan is a fraud, a ritualist, and the same fate as my children’s await him. He did not speak to anybody from Obiajulu’s family; he is lying, he probably bribed some people to pretend as though it was Obiajulu’s family members speaking.’ She told me amidst our lengthy phone conversation which lasted for over 38 minutes.
Now to Mr., short man Nobble Igwe, you claimed that our story was false? Well I don’t blame you because you don’t understand a jack about journalism, you were disgraced out of Virgin Nigeria and after a frustrating experience in the PR world, blogging came to your rescue and gave a you a voice and now you have the guts to call our story fake! You think journalism is about attending high profile events and posting events pictures and upcoming artiste’s songs online? Let me give you a crash on journalism….IT IS NOT!
For your information when MC Loph died, Morgan promised to place his mom on 30 thousand naira salary monthly. Since Emeka Morgan has become your father that you can swear for, when was the last time she got even a penny from your daddy? Did he tell you the last time he gave 6o thousand naira, a bag of rice and a gallon of groundnut oil to the poor widow who lost her only two children was in May 2012, after a report by SUN newspapers was published of how he has abandoned MC Lophs family without redeeming the promises he made them, abi na me still fabricate that one?
The report of Morgan adopting Obiajulu Jnr. went viral both online on traditional media, have you asked when was the last time Morgan set his eyes on the boy? How much more less sending money for his upkeep like his initial claim? abi that one too na fabricated story?
As a matter I was informed that MC Loph’s mom and wife have been shielding the child from Morgan for fear of the unknown, shey him tell you that one too?
The Imaginary MC Loph’s family, claimed that Emeka Morgan helped Obiajulu Nwozor’s family, If I may ask, how is that possible when the last time he called, visited or sent anything to Obiajulu’s mom was in may 2012, when the report by SUN newspaper was written or did I fabricate that one too?
Mr. Dumb headed Noble Igwe, did they also inform you that MC Loph’s mom has been suffering from High Blood Pressure and Diabetes and was hospitalized for months with over 700thousand expended to save her life and Morgan didn’t even spend a dime? Abi na me still fabricate this one too? How dare you call our report fake, do you think we practice armchair journalism of crap and fictions? You know what? The respect I personally had for you had since been forgotten deep down the Lagos Lagoon and there’s no point going back for it.
You had the guts to open your Margot-infested-odour-filled mouth to vomit absolute rubbish to confuse people just for a plate of meal? You should go and hide your ugly face in shame.
Ordinarily, I would have decided to rest this matter after the last time, but for the fact that, if I do, I will be misunderstood. My advice to you all Babylon people is, those who live in glass house don’t throw stones. I didn’t accuse anybody of killing anybody. As a matter of fact, I don’t have that time, I never make money finish na to come dey accuse person remain? Abeg pack well jare, I got better things to worry about! And just for the records, WE STAND BY OUR STORY.
