These photos show people being harassed and teargassed by the police at the Rivers State Government House.
A crowd peaceful protesters who massed at the State Assembly this morning were running into the inner confines of the Government House after been teargassed by the police. In the photos, the policemen can be seen launching canisters of teargas into Government House, Port Harcourt, the official residence Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. The young men with the wounds in the photos claimed that the police shot them at during the protest.
