Efforts to aid acid victim made injuries much worse

Desperate helpers threw dirty water over one of the terrified British women who was attacked with acid in Zanzibar, making her injuries worse, it emerged yesterday.
The two 18-year-old women flew back to Britain yesterday and were being assessed by burns experts.
One of the teenagers has much worse injuries than the other because of the panicked attempts to stop the acid corroding her skin.
The families of Kirstie Trup and Katie Gee are declining to identify which one suffered the most extensive harm. Nor are they identifying which one suffered the horrific scarring of neck and upper
