JAY Z has reportedly surprised his staff with a huge financial bonus of £30,000 each.
According to the Daily Star Sunday, the Brooklyn rapper gave away £2.4m to his 80 full-time staff, after receiving a massive tax rebate.
The 43-year-old rewarded everyone from executives helping operate his business ventures to the manual employees who work at his various properties in the US..
Inside sources reportedly claimed that many members of staff were so shocked by the gift that they called Jay Z's personal assistant to make sure the bonus was not a mistake.
"He's spreading the wealth around and everyone is blown away," a source said.
"Nobody got left out. A lot of them couldn't believe it and phoned his personal assistant to check that there hadn't been some mistake."
Jay Z has added two further dates to his UK Magna Carta tour, which starts in Manchester on October 3.
