Clint's 'epic' marriage deserves a quiet burial

I’m never surprised that celebrity couples part, only that they stay together as long as they do.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas managed to keep going for 13 years, Clint and Dina Eastwood for 17.

Those are epic achievements in Hollywood terms – and there is too much disaster-tourism around divorce. 

When someone dies, we celebrate their life and not their death. Marriages, too, should be allowed to rest in peace.
