Davido To Perform At Music Meets Runway 2013

Last month, Le Reve Events, the organisers of highly rated music and fashion show, Music Meets Runway (MMR) disclosed that the 2013 edition, which is in the third year running, would be a special edition.
CEO of the event company, Jennifer Olize has revealed that this year’s edition of MMR will be the Years of the Icons.

When the show debuted in 2011, MMR made a very strong impression connecting with upwardly mobile audiences, corporate players and the entertainment industry and became a hit of some sort with wide and strong following.

It was on the platform Davido, a then new player in the industry performed for the first time publicly in Nigeria.

 In 2012, the show returned fiercer with Kokomaster, D’banj and the gorgeous Tanzanian model, Millen Magese as hosts.

Upwardly mobile designers in the fashion industry like April by Kunbi, Kimono Kollection, Tiannah Styling, Nkili, Andrea Iyamah, Rebahia, Shakara

Couture, Eclectic by Sasha and Moofa etc gave us timeless runway looks that we still see on red carpets today. Top musicians led by D’banj, Naeto C, MayD, Iyanya, Ajebutter 22 and others gave buzz worthy performances with their hit numbers. Iconic designer, Lanre Da Silva closed the show with Dbanj leading her in.
