Who needs an alarm clock when you’ve got a crocodile under the bed to wake you up?
The 8ft beast sneaked into a game lodge in Zimbabwe and spent the night lying quietly beneath an oblivious Guy Whittall as he slept, staying hidden for more than eight hours.
In the morning Mr Whittall even perched on the edge of his bed organising his day with his bare feet inches away from the 330lb crocodile. He realised it was there only when he was in the kitchen and heard the screams of a housemaid.
Mr Whittall, 40, a director of Humani lodge, summoned help and the crocodile was roped and hauled away. “I’m pretty sure everyone checks under their bed now,” Mr Whittall said. - Daily Mail
