Amosun Orders Employment of Lecturers for OOU.

Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun has ordered for the immediate recruitment of lecturers for the state-owned tertiary institutions. The governor gave the order during the treasury board meeting on the 2014 budget in Abeokuta yesterday. He said the development became necessary in view of the number of students in the institutions.

The state-owned tertiary institutions include: Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), four ICT polytechnics, College of Health Technology, Ilese and Co-operative College, Abeokuta. Amosun said he would carry out a tour of the institutions as part of the rebuilding mission of his administration.

"We are almost done with primary and secondary sectors and I think we are prepared for the tertiary schools now. Soon we will start visiting them," he said.
