JONATHAN IN CLOSED DOOR MEETING WITH SOUTH WEST GOVERNORS

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan met with governors of South West states in a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday.
overnors in the meeting included Babatunde Fashola (Lagos); Rauf Aregbesola (Osun); Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti) and Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), all of them members of the opposition All Progressive Congress (APC).

Governors of Oyo and Ondo states, Abiola Ajimobi and Olusegun Mimiko, respectively, were, however, absent.

The governors declined to speak with reporters when approached for comments after the meeting, with Governor Amosun only saying that something would be heard about the meeting later.
